​When you complete our Volunteer Application with your email address, name, home or work address or telephone number, the information is placed on a secure server. To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we use Salesforce as our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system, which helps us organize and manage our interactions with volunteers, teachers and supporters. Salesforce ensures the highest standards of safety and protection for your personal information with advanced encryption and strict access controls. Importantly, Salesforce is committed to protecting your privacy and does not sell personal information. You can trust that your data is secure and used only for the purposes you intend.

Once you provide us with information, that data remains confidential. We will not share any information you provide with any individual or organization, other than individuals who work directly with Sight Word Busters to carry out the activities of our program.

​Sight Word Busters works with Sacramento Region Community Foundation to process online donations. They use industry-leading Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to keep your personal information as secure as possible. They help to protect your information by working with partners that provide a secure and safe environment for credit card donations.

At a minimum, the information you provide when giving online is used to complete your donation. With your permission, Sacramento Region Community Foundation can also provide your name and contact information to Sight Word  Busters. If you do not wish to share your name and contact information with us or you choose to make your donation anonymously, Sacramento Region Community Foundation will not share your name or contact information. In either case, you will receive a thank you confirmation from Sacramento Region Community Foundation that can be used as a record of your contribution.

If you choose to allow the Sacramento Region Community Foundation to share your information with us, that data remains confidential. We will not share any information you provide with any individual or organization.
